Our Software
Of course! The United Negro College Fund has paired up with West Coast super companies, Google, Facebook, and Microsoft to initiate the HBCU ICE Platform. This allows HBCUs to function as talent pipelines for these companies where a student's academic profile is accompanied with previously completed works. How do they get to view all of this from the 25 HBCUs? Our software serves as that vehicle! It's proprietary (meaning you own it), customizeable, and intuitive. Most of all, it does more than get the job done. It makes it fun to get the job done! Progress is seen in real time and changes can be made very quickly. We are proud to play a hand in helping the UNCF accomplish one of its most lofty goals.
Our ATL Trep Trek
Physically connecting disconnected communities to increase the accessibility to information regarding entrepreneurial thinking and resources sounds great! It's our software in the physical world and meant to provide a great social impact to Atlanta's local businesses and residents. So what happened when we launched the tour around the city? The universities stepped up, and wanted more for their students. Atlanta is packed with spaces and resources for innovation, research, and entrepreneurship. Atlanta is just unaware of its own assets. After partnering with all of these hot-spots, Invest Atlanta, and the City, there was a real moment of unity that could be felt. As of now, we have postponed tours until all of the details with the universities are completed. Once we finish, Atlanta will definitely be a force to reckon with!
Partners include: Hypepotamus, ATDC, Atlanta Tech Village, BIP Capital, Tech Square Ventures, Opportunity Hub, Strongbox West, GCMI, Morehouse, Clark, Spelman, Emory, Invest Atlanta, City of Atlanta, Tech Talent South, General Assembly, Collider, Civic Center for Innovation, MIT Enterprise Forum, and Many Others! Bonus: We use our software to keep everyone connected.
Our Thought Leadership
Thought leadership can make for some real change. It's like how research papers can eventually be sent to the Tech Transfer office, and spawn new startups. The key is to have research with obvious applications and a way to measure results. Those are the requirements of our thought leadership. We also manage a blog, PEAR-A-DIGMS which serves as a reflection of the thought leadership already present in the community. It is filled with ideas and voices of many, and particularly focuses on entrepreneurial efforts. The application of our thought leadership is to first and foremost, create a world of connected productivity- ways by which disconnected groups can become connected and produce more as a result of those connections. Bridges have to be built everywhere! One of the first lines of thought leadership launched was #YCOI, Your Cause, Our Innovation. It is the effort to coordinate the resources and efforts of the startup and nonprofit communities. At our first event, the nonprofits in attendance have decided to partake in a case study to apply the proposed methods by which #YCOI can occur. Details will come soon.
